Community Sculpture

     Community sculptures are usually closely related to residents' lives and can easily influence people's behavior or values in a subtle way, with minors being the most influential. Based on these situations, the production of community sculptures also needs to follow several principles.

     Firstly, it is necessary to have cultural connotations, educational significance, and promote a positive and upward cultural spirit. In terms of population proportion, adults make up the majority in residential areas, but teenagers are the future of humanity. Therefore, when designing a sculpture, the sculptor should consciously take on the social responsibility of educating future generations and nurturing everyone. Sculptors can't just Art for art's sake. Art that is separated from society is rootless art. Secondly, it should be easy to appreciate and accepted by the public. As one of the public sculptures, it must be easy to appreciate, otherwise, the previous discussion cannot be achieved.

     Once again, it is important to have a sense of life and be loved by the public. Sculpture cannot be liked by the public. On the contrary, the public feels that placing a sculpture there is unfamiliar and bizarre, so there is no appreciation, no cultivation of sentiment, or any educational function. Finally, it is important to integrate with local residents and become a part of their daily lives. The sculpture is well made, and everyone around me remembers it in my heart. I don't even forget to praise it for chatting about everyday things. This kind of sculpture is where things are and has value.

     In fact, when making sculptures, these cannot be considered alone. After all, these principles are just a rough idea. In short, a basic principle is to put people first and combine people with art, that is, there is art in people and people in art.
